Building the Wind-Powered Phone Charger

Step 1: Assembling the Wind Turbine

  1. Attach the fan blades to the small DC motor securely.

  2. Mount the motor onto the stand or board to ensure stability.

  3. Position the turbine where it can capture strong airflow—outdoors or near a fan for testing.

Step 2: Connecting the Generator

  1. Identify the positive and negative terminals of the DC motor.

  2. Connect wires to the terminals and extend them to where the USB charging module will be placed.


Step 3: Wiring the USB Charger

  2. Connect a USB charging cable to your phone.

  3. If everything is working, your phone should start charging using pure wind energy!

  4. If no power is generated, check connections and wind speed.
